Review by Joe, aged 3 (and a half)
The best thing about Marcello Mouse is when he scampers up steps and then down and down. He skips up the stairs to the castle, into the cats’ home. Then he sails on the boat, back to his home. Mouses live in big holes.
I like the cats and Marcello and most of all, Venice.
‘With a hope and a skip and a clever disguise, Marcello Mouse is off to the Magical Masked Ball. But this little mouse has not been invited. And as Marcello soon discovers, this ball is certainly no place for a mouse’. (Cover blurb)
